The first seminar in June launched the new collaboration between the Technion and Monash University which is supported by the Victorian Technion Society and Monash. Over coming months we will transmit seminars by experts at the Technion and Monash on a range of topics of mutual interest, with the goal of fostering closer research ties and collaboration.

- In Winter 2010 Semester, students from 2nd semester designed and modeled an advanced personal transportation system, called “Take Me” with novel ideas.
- In Winter 2011 Semester, students from 2nd and 3rd semester are designing and modeling a Driver Fatigue Management System, called “SleepBuster”. As part of the course, Technion President, Prof. Peretz Lavie took part in a session, in which he responded to students’ questions. This session is available as a Distance Learning module.

- In Spring 2010 Semester, students designed and modeled four systems:
- Elaboration of “Take Me” personal transportation system
- A system for viewing complex biological molecular interactions in 3D called ICE-MMM
- A system for animating conceptual OPM models called “Vivid OPM”
- A system for modeling textual specifications.

Process-based managerial approach to munufacturing organizations and introduction to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with focus on supply processes. Main topics: the modern enterprise and its strategic goals, concepts and models of business functions and processes, organization modeling with Object-Process Methodology using conceptual and workflow modeling tools, mechanisms and processes in Materials Requirements and Planning systems, application and assimilation of ERP systems.
